Thirsty Little Weave

I'd love to know the story behind this weave.  Was it beaten out with the water bottle? Was the bottle thrown down in anger just before a fight? Or is the weave just thirsty?

Tumbleweaves!

I've been noticing tumbleweaves in philadelphia for almost 10 years now. until recently, what i've seen has been your typical specimen...an extension that fell out and blew away or maybe a smallish cluster of multiple hues....two years ago i moved to deep south philly, to a neighborhood that has been unusually tumbleweave free. now i understand that all of the errant weaves banded together to form one massive weave, that in my estimation, could have consumed the entire Whitman neighborhood.

Found 5/02/08 on the 2500 block of S 5t St.

I stepped out of the car across the street from my house and was startled by the largest specimen of tumbleweave i have ever seen. I would estimate that it measured about 2 feet in length and about 8 inches in width. It consisted of multiple hues of weave, to include black and a reddish brown. In its travels, it managed to collect various debris to include cigarette butts, paper wrappers, pieces of grass. Truly astounding. Enjoy!
