West Oakland - The Philly of the West Coast

West Oakland claims they've got the tumbleweave on lock. I dunno, but
hey, these gnarly ass weaves are seriously business. They almost
appear to be petrified like an old log in the forest... except they've
been aging in plain sight...

Those were the words that came out my lady's mouth upon seeing this tumbling beauty. 48th and Larchwood. For serious.

Weave-o-war

This little whippersnapper was found in South Philly holding on to a
traffic light for dear life.
This was the biggest tumbleweave I have ever laid eyes on during my
stroll through South Philly. It was casually working the corner of 8th
st. off Columbus Ave.  Quite large in size and the traffic light will
show to scale what a marvel this was
